Snow – Free Stock

We were dreaming of a white Christmas and then decided to do something about it. Our gift to you (in exchange for your email address *cough*) is this collection of simulated snowfall elements. This Creative Bay Media royalty-free stock collection features eight, 1080p clips of snow elements filmed against a black backdrop for you to use in any derivative way that you would like. We didn’t pre-key the elements because you have to do some of the work yourself! (…and because nobody likes working with somebody else’s pre-keyed footage.)

Quick tip for novices: use a ‘screen’ or ‘add’ blending mode in your application and place the snow element on a layer above your footage. Experiment with levels adjustments to match your scene and/or add multiple layers of the elements to create different looks and densities.
